Blake Juror to Release Album

Juror finds inspiration while deliberating at Blake trial.

Now that Robert Blake has been acquitted of charges stemming from the murder of his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, juror Roberto Emerick is publicizing his six-song recording that he worked on during the trial. Emerick says that he received hate mail from critics who see the recording as disrespectful to the now dead Bakley. Emerick explains that recording the tracks, quote "was a stress management thing for me." His band, Mission in the Hills, recorded songs before the trial, but many were rewritten to focus on the case.

Because of state law, it will be 90 days until Emerick can make more than $50 from the project. The band is offering free downloads on its website and the album will be available for purchase on June 14.
