Comedian Testifies to Accuser's Honesty
Comedian Louise Palanker's testimony at the Michael Jackson trial positively characterized the accuser and his mother saying quote, the mother was "a loving, caring person" and the accuser was "honest in the face of others asking him not to be." The accuser had made many comedian friends after falling ill from cancer while attending a camp at the Laugh Factory in Las Angeles in 1999. Among the comedians he became acquainted with was George Lopez, who the accuser's father claims stole $300 from the boy. Palanker testified that the father was abusive and dishonest asking the boy to back up his story that the accuser had left a wallet with $300 at Lopez's house. When Lopez found the wallet, it contained only $3.
Palanker's testimony exposed the father as money grubbing, and showed the accuser and his mother as honest.
