Family, Friends Attended Ed McMahon’s Funeral

The “Tonight Show” sidekick received a standing ovation at his funeral, Sunday.
Ed McMahon’s funeral was held on Sunday in Los Angeles, according to Access Hollywood. Around 200 guests attended the service at Church of the Hills at the Forest Lawn Memorial Parks and Mortuaries in the Hollywood Hills.
Jimmy Kimmel, Natalie Cole, David Foster and Tony Danza were some of the celebrities that paid their final respects to the “Tonight Show” sidekick. Also in attendance were Johnny Carson’s widow, Joanna Carson, and McMahon’s wife, children and grandchildren, who spoke at the service.
According to E! Online, Cole and Foster performed her song, “Smile.” Guests gave McMahon his last standing ovation when the ceremony concluded.
McMahon passed away last Tuesday at the age of 86 at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was surrounded by his wife and loved ones according to his publicist, Howard Bragman.
