Actress will dance on show's 100th episode.
Katie Holmes will perform on the 100th episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" in a song and dance tribute to Judy Garland.
Holmes and daughter, Suri, 3, have visited the show's dress rehearsals for several years now.
The show's executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, told People: "She absolutely adores dancing as does her daughter."
Holmes will wear the iconic jacket and little hat inspired by Garland's song "Get Happy" from the musical "Summer Stock."
She also got vocal training from "American Idol" musical director Ricky Minor for the performance. The performance will introduce the Dizzy Feet Foundation, which Holmes and Lythgoe co-founded, along with "Hairspray" director Adam Shankman and "Dancing with the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
The Dizzy Feet Foundation was set up to increase and improve access to dance education in the United States.
In a statement, Holmes said: "I think it's important for children to experience music and dance. Every child should have the opportunity to discover what it is they like and have access to the very best in that pursuit."
The FOX show's 100th episode and Holmes' performance will air July 23.
