Katie Holmes will appear on “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Katie Holmes has a routine planned out for her appearance on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance.”
According to Monsters and Critics.com, Holmes will appear on the show’s 100th episode on July 23. She will be introducing to the public the Dizzy Feet Foundation, which she co-founded with others including “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba. Dion Beebe, cinematographer, and Tyce Diorio, choreographer, put the routine together.
People reports that the song and dance routine will pay a tribute to Judy Garland. The routine is New York street-themed and is inspired by Garland’s song “Get Happy” from the musical “Summer Stock.” Besides working hard on her footwork, Holmes also received vocal training from Ricky Minor, musical director for “American Idol.”
Holmes has taken quite a bit of time to rehearse the routine, Twirlit reports. Her husband, Tom Cruise, and their daughter, Suri, have supported her every step of the way.
