Holmes’s dancing is brilliant, choreographer says.
Just like she promised, Katie Holmes will be performing on the 100th episode of the hit show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” And considering the way she dances, it’s looking to be an impressive show.
Holmes’s choreographer, Mia Michaels, has nothing but good things to say about the 30-year-old’s dancing skills, People Magazine reports. She said that Holmes is “really blossoming into a gorgeous triple-threat star” and that the clips she saw of the dance routine were “brilliant.”
According to Entertainment Tonight News, Holmes will be honoring Judy Garland by dancing and singing to the classic “Get Happy” from the 1950 musical, “Summer Stock.” The producers of “SYTYCD” are creating a massive set for the event, as though the performance were a Broadway production.
Holmes will give the money she makes performing to Dizzy Feet Foundation, reports the Boston Herald. The foundation gives scholarships to underprivileged youth who otherwise wouldn’t be able to realize their dreams of becoming professional dancers. She will be introducing the charity to viewers during her appearance on “SYTYCD” on July 23.
