Swine Flu Affected “Harry Potter” Actor
5-Jul-2009
Written by: Lawanda Johnson

Rupert Grint, actor in “Harry Potter” films, recovered from swine flu.

Rupert Grint recovers from the swine flu and joins his cast members at the premieres of “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.”

The 20 year-old Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the “Harry Potter” films, took a couple of days away from filming, but can return back to work. Due to his “mild bout” of swine flu, Grint’s “other scenes from the movies were shot in his absence and the filming was not disrupted,” according to his publicist.

His publicist also added that his doctor had confirmed that he was no longer contagious or at risk of infecting others.

Grint has starred in all the “Harry Potter” films with the addition of British comedies such as “Thunderpants” and “Driving Lessons with Julie Walers.”

“Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” is released on July 15 in the UK.
