Shatner returns to TV with "Invasion Iowa"
In the town of Riverside, Iowa, there is a sign that proclaims the town the "Future Birthplace of Captain James T. Kirk, March 22, 2228." No wonder William Shatner's new reality show, "Invasion Iowa", is centered on the town with a known fixation on his famous "Star Trek" persona. The show is a reality prank where Shatner and his entourage shoot a sci-fi film in the town giving supporting roles to the town's people who believe it is a legitimate movie.
The show airs on Spike TV Monday nights at 9, Eastern and Pacific times, 8, Central time.
