Lisa Marie Presley Opens Up about Her Life and Michael Jackson

The unassuming and sometimes shy Lisa Marie spoke candidly about growing up as the daughter of Elvis Presley, her three marriages, and her music, promoting her new album "Now What," the follow up to her debut CD "To Whom It May Concern." The interviews delved deeply into her life and relationships with her mother and her two children with ex-husband Danny Keough.

The interview also touched on a man who's been in the news a lot lately - Michael Jackson.

Lisa Marie answered Oprah's direct questions about ex-husband Jackson, asking if she felt he really loved her, to which she replied, "It's hard for me to answer that question. I don't know the answer to that, to be honest with you... he loved me as much as he was capable of loving somebody."

Lisa Marie also revealed that the marriage was indeed consummated, explained how Jackson lured her into his world and although she said she "couldn't speak for him," she said "that all signs pointed" in the direction of Jackson using her for his own image and personal gain. She also explained how she was unaware that the famous "kiss," televised on the MTV Awards in the mid-nineties, was going to take place, and how Jackson would disappear for "months at a time." However, after two years of darkness and depression, she no longer harbors resentment toward him.

The next day Priscilla Presley revealed her thoughts on her daughter's union with Jackson, explaining her shock when hearing the news of the marriage and how she thought Jackson may have wanted children with Lisa Marie to propel his fame and image. She drove her point home further by drawing similarities between the names "Graceland" and "Neverland" and the "King of Rock and Roll" and the "King of Pop."

Lisa Marie also spoke of her 108 day marriage to Nicholas Cage, and stating how their once stormy relationship is now better as friends. She also expressed happiness at his new marriage and impending fatherhood. Lisa Marie is now in a happy relationship with a new man, also named Michael (whom her mother loves!).

She performed her new single, "Dirty Laundry," at the culmination of her two-day interview with Oprah Winfrey. Her new album "Now What" will be in stores April 5th.
