Jim Carrey’s daughter is expecting her first child.
Jim Carrey’s 21-year-old daughter, Jane Carrey, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Alex Santana, E! News reports.
Both expecting parents are musically inclined. Jane fronts the Jane Carrey Band and Santana goes by the name “Nitro” in his rock group, Blood Money.
“I am very excited,” the actor and soon-to-be grandpa told RadarOnline.com about his daughter's pregnancy. “Jane is going to be a great mom.”
“Jane is ecstatic,” another source told the Web site. “She and Alex are now engaged and are thrilled at becoming parents.”
According to Us Weekly, Jane is Jim’s only child with his first wife, Melissa Wormer, who he divorced in 1997. He has been dating actress Jenny McCarthy for more than four years. Jim has said that the two have no plans to marry.
“I love Jenny very much, and we have a great relationship. And we’ve both been married a couple times,” Us reports Jim told Larry King. “I like it the way it is, and I think she likes it the way it is.”
