Mother Not Interested In Money
29-Mar-2005
Written by: Roy Cureton
Witness testifies that accuser’s mother had no interest in recieving money.
Jamie Masada, owner of the Laugh Factory on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, testified that the mother of Michael Jackson’s accuser called in a panic saying that she and her family were being held against their will at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. Masada also testified that the mother refused money from an unknown benefactor, showing that the mother has no interest in monetary gain as a result of the legal proceedings.
Following Masada’s testimony, flight attendant Cynthia Bell testified to Jackson drinking white wine from a Diet Coke can while on a flight from Miami to Santa Barbara with his family and the accuser and his family. The witness also called the accuser “altogether loud and obnoxious.”
Jackson faces 20 years of jail time if convicted.
