Emma Watson Does Not Want A Fan As A Roommate
Actress Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in all the "Harry Potter" movies, cannot wait to start college in the U.S. this fall. However, she has one request; for her roommate to not be a diehard "Harry Potter" fan.
"As long as there are no Harry Potter posters on the wall, I will be fine and happy," Watson told People at the New York City premiere of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" Thursday night at the Ziegfeld Theatre. "Oh God, its part luck, isn't it. We'll see."
Costar Daniel Radcliffe decided to put in his two senses about the subject at hand.
"I really hope they are a really massive "Harry Potter" fan," joked Radcliffe. "I hope you walk in and the first thing you see is your face on a duvet."
At the end of August, Watson, 19, will move to the states and attend an Ivy League school. She plans on getting a liberal arts degree in either English literature or Art.
Even though it was her dream to attend an Ivy League school in the U.S., she's still going to be homesick.
"I will miss marmite, baked beans, London taxis and the rain!" Watson told People. "I may have to bring boxes full of marmite and baked beans with me."
