Jim Carrey Ready To Be A Grandpa

Actor Jim Carrey is going to be a granddad. It has been reported that his musician daughter, Jane, and her long-time boyfriend, Alex Santana, are expecting a child, People reported.

"I am very excited," Jim, 47, said in a statement. "Jane is going to be a great mom."

This will be the couple's first child.

"Jane is ecstatic," a source told Radar Online. "She and Alex are now engaged and are thrilled at becoming parents."

According to Access Hollywood, Jane, who fronts the Los Angeles-based group, Jane Carrey Band, and her funnyman dad are very close. She often supports her father and girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy, at autism fundraisers and events.

Jane Erin Carrey, 21, is the "Bruce Almighty" star's daughter from his first marriage with former actress, Melissa Womer.
