Ryan Seacrest In Contract Negotiations

Ryan Seacrest is expected to make more money for hosting "American Idol."

Ryan Seacrest is in contract negotiations for "American Idol," reports buddytv.com.

No figures have been revealed yet but the reality host made $5 million off of Idol's eighth season, which comes to $100,000 per episode. It is being reported by Entertainment Weekly that the contract will be settled by the end of next week.

The new deal is suppose to allow Seacrest to get more involved with producers of "Idol" and he may even be developing new shows with "Idol" creator Simon Fuller according to buddytv.com.

MTV News is reporting that all four "American Idol" judges are in contract negotiations right now. Simon Cowell back in May seemed confident that everyone was going to return to the show.

"Everyone's going to be back. Absolutely," said Cowell.
