Lil Kim, Will.i.am, Alicia Keys, Josh Broban, and many more will do "special colloborations" at the Mandella Day celebration.

For Nelson Mandela's 91st birthday, hip-hop artist Lil Kim and '80s pop singer Cyndi Lauper will take the stage together in order to celebrate his birthday during Mandela Day: A 46664 Celebration in order to honor the former South African president.

The celebration will serve as a global call to action for people to recognize their individual power to change and make an imprint on the world around them for the better, according to event organizers. In response, 46664 is asking the public to support the creation of an official Mandela Day that would be held every year on July 18.

The event is scheduled for July 18 at 8 p.m. at the Radio City Music Hall, featuring what event organizers call "special collaborations" between performers.

Within the list of "special collaborations" between performers, Will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas will perform with Jesse McCartney, Aretha Franklin will perform with Josh Broban, and Alicia Keys will perform with Angelique Kidjo at the concert.

Other performances will be done by Stevie Wonder, T-Pain, Queen Latifah, Wyclef Jean, Dave Stewart, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Zuuchero, Soweto Gospel and Gloria Gaynor.

This concert will be the start off for a weeklong series of events filled with activities in New York City in order to celebrate Mandela's life.

These activities will be held at Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall and will include a gala fundraising dinner and a Ralph Appelbaum-designed installation of Mandela's life and the work of ambassadors.

There are still a limited number of tickets for Mandela Day: A 46664 Celebration. Prices range from $95 to $250 and are currently on sale at ticketmaster.com, livenation.com, and thegarden.com.
