Tony Romo Calls It Quits With Jessica Simpson

After nearly two years together, Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have split up for good.

According to PEOPLE.com, the Dallas Cowboy's Quarterback dumped Simpson the day before her 29th birthday.

A source told PEOPLE, "She is heartbroken. She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show. They decided to part ways."

The couple had been dating since November 2007. They split up for a brief time during the two year period because of reported "meddling" by Simpson's father.

Simpson's rep had no comment on the break up and Romo's rep could not be reached for a comment.

However, Romo fueled the break up rumors when he showed up at MyHouse, a Hollywood hotspot, on Friday with 14 friends and no sign of Simpson.

"He had quite a few girls stop by his dance floor table. Romo was sipping Grey Goose and having a fun time with the boys," an onlooker told PEOPLE.
