Paul McCartney Appears on Letterman
Paul McCartney wows the crowd after a chat with host David Letterman
On Wednesday, the city that never sleeps stopped in its tracks to watch a musical legend. Sir Paul McCartney, one of the two surviving Beatles, performed on top of the Ed Sullivan Theater for a huge crowd of people below.
During his NYC trip, which includes a performance at the new Mets stadium, McCartney took the time to sit down with David Letterman on a July 16th broadcast.
After a funny sit-down with Letterman, McCartney took to the roof to perform two songs "Get Back" and "Sing The Changes" for the eager crowd. The 67-year-old musician also surprised fans with a few extra songs, including "Back in the USSR", after the telecast was over.
