Former talk show host says she would join the TV show's celebrity edition.

Funny woman Rosie O'Donnell loves Oxygen's new reality show, "Dance Your Ass Off," reports MSNBC.com.

"[It's] my favorite show," she told Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson on the set of Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva," where she was filming a return guest appearance set to air Sept. 13. Her debut on Lifetime's new show will air July 26.

"The reason I love ['Dance'] is [because] my doctor said to me recently, 'What is it I can do to get you to work out like an hour, two hours a day?' I said, 'Get me a Broadway show,'" O'Donnell told Access Hollywood. "No matter what, when you do a Broadway show, you drop [weight], you're fit and you feel good, because you have to. There's 2,000 people in velvet seats who paid 100 bucks."

However, O'Donnell has different thoughts about "Dancing with the Stars." "Never in a million years," O'Donnell told Access Hollywood. "But 'Dance Your Ass Off,' call me for the celebrity edition. As long as I don't have to wear spandex, 'cause I'm not into that."

O'Donnell, 47, is currently working on launching a new morning show on Sirius XM radio, says MSNBC.com.

"I'm gonna talk about what's going on in my life and what's going on in pop culture, a little bit of news, a little bit of human interest," she said.
