Limp Bizkit Returns
20-Jul-2009

Limp Bizkit returned to the scene with a free concert in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Limp Bizkit returned to the face of the earth with a free concert at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday. Rolling Stone reports that there seemed to be a sea of black as everyone donned free t-shirts with “Limp Bizkit” on one side and “VEGAS July 18th 2009” on the other. A marketing ploy to no doubt get the band back on everyone’s radar as they try to promote their new studio album and boost their chances of getting a U.S. tour.
Limp Bizkit’s lead singer, Fred Durst, recently married girlfriend Esther Nazarov, but it wasn’t all “ho-hum” for this married man, who slipped right back into his head banging days of the late 90s and early 2000s. Guitarist Wes Borland was all rock and roll, completely in red, trying to catch his own “loogie” in the air. Apparently, these guys want you to know they’re just as wild as ever and haven’t aged a bit.
The show climaxed with white fireworks at the very end. The success of this concert will hopefully mean success for the band’s reappearance on the music scene.
