DVD/Blu-Ray Dribble: New Blu-Ray Releases of Concerts from Paris

Multi-talented recording artist Jose Feliciano has released his first ever DVD/Blu-ray disc, which contains footage from his live performance in Paris that took place in 2008. Feliciano was backed by his talented five-piece band throughout the concert, where he played some of his most popular tracks such as Billy Jean and Light My Fire.

The six-time Grammy Award nominee is a world renowned guitarist and singer whose musical versatility is virtually limitless. This Music Video Distributors Studio release, which is entitled "Jose Feliciano Band: Paris Concert," contains 98 minutes of concert footage and it was made available for purchase in stores nationwide on July 14.

Originally released on July 14, the Blu-ray version of "Mike Stern Band: Paris Concert" has proved to be an incredibly popular item for jazz/pop music lovers. Stern has been the recipient of Grammy Award nominations on four separate occasions during his tenure in the music industry, which spans more than three decades.

His musical versatility is exemplified by the fact that it is rather difficult to provide a generalization in an attempt to describe his lyrical style. With the assistance of bassist Tom Kennedy, drummer Dave Weckl and saxophonist Bob Francheschini, Stern provided his audience of devoted fans with an awe-inspiring performance during the band's Paris concert in May of 2008.

As two of the most talented guitarists of this generation, Larry Carlton and Robben Ford have earned sterling reputations throughout the blues music community. One-hundred minutes of concert footage is contained on the Blu-ray disc, including 13 tracks that were performed at Paris's New Morning Club in 2006. The Autour du Blues was a compilation of France's finest studio musicians and this Blu-ray release places them in the spotlight as they attempt to hold their own while performing on stage with two highly regarded guitarists.

The Yellowjackets have made music together for over 25 years, which includes their tenure as the backing band for the aforementioned guitarist, Robben Ford. In 2008, the band gave a live performance in front of a passionate audience in Paris, France that was released on Blu-ray disc and has been made available for purchase as of July 14.

The band is comprised of four talented musicians; bassist Jimmy Haslip, drummer Marcus Baylor, keyboard performer Russell Ferrante and saxophonist Bob Mintzer.
