'Wonderland' Teaser Trailer Revealed

Web surfers can catch a glimpse of Tim Burton's latest film "Alice in Wonderland."

IGN released the first teaser trailer for the film online, which stars Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Michael Sheen. The three-dimensional fantasy film is scheduled to be released on March 15, 2010.

Deadbolt reports that the trailer will also be released at this year's Comic-Con on Thursday. The film is an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's popular novel and stays true to the plot. In the movie, Alice, played by Wasikowski, encounters characters made famous by the book such as the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter (Depp), Caterpillar (Alan Rickman) and the White and Red queens (Hathaway and Bonham Carter, respectively).

The "Wonderland" film has become of the most highly anticipated movies of 2010, MTV.com reports. A take on the novel was also featured in a 1985 music video for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' "Don't Come Around Here No More," where Petty dressed like the Mad Hatter.
