Who Did Jackson's Doctor Email?
Agents for the Drug Enforcement Administration joined officers from Los Angeles and the Houston police to execute warrants to search the medical clinic-office and storage of Conrad Murray.
Murray is the cardiologist who reported giving CPR to Jackson on Jackson's bed, failing to move him to the floor; and went to get help from a Jackson employee, failing to immediately call 911 when Jackson was dying.
A forensic copy of information was taken from the computer of Dr. Murray. More hard drives were seized from the doctor's storage unit.
Among other objects obtained as possible evidence were letters, a phone receipt, and vials of the drug clonazepam and phentermine.
Loyola Law School professor Laurie Levenson told "People Magazine" that the emails confiscated will be critical in a case. Levenson told the magazine that police will look to answer questions such as, "Who did Dr. Murray contact, and what did he say, after Jackson died."
Former Los Angeles prosecutor Robin Sax told "People" that Wednesday's raid indicates the seriousness of the investigation. Sax predicts that as many as 10 to 20 doctors may face charges.
