Accuser's Mother Takes The Stand
Woman may have been involved in welfare fraud
The accuser's mother at Michael Jackson's molestation trial refused to speak about Welfare payments she has received, pleading the fifth as she took the stand outside the jury's presence today. Questions about the woman's honesty have arisen from the issue of Welfare, and defense attorneys have accused her of Welfare fraud as well as taking advantage of other celebrities in the past. The defense wants to prove that the mother designed a situation in which her son would be able to accuse Jackson of molestation.
The alleged Welfare fraud occurred in Los Angeles and could lead to a criminal investigation if proven.
