Batman Movie News Slips
Actor Gary Oldman spoke too soon on Friday when he revealed that he will begin filming a new Batman flick next year that would hit theaters in 2011. Oldman then said "but you didn't hear it from him," reports Reuters.
Oldman, who starred in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," played the character Commissioner Gordon. The actor was at Comic-Con convention in San Diego promoting his new film "The Book of Eli" when he let the Batman news slip, reports Entertainment Weekly.
According to Reuters, a Warner Bros. spokeswoman declined to comment on what Oldman said about the new movie, which only adds to the suspicion. For all Batman fans there is a good chance that another film is in the works considering the first two movies combined took in nearly $1.4 billion at global box offices, according to Reuters.
