Barton's All Better, Out of the Hospital

Star of "The Beautiful Life" will be well enough to start filming.

After a week and a half of involuntary confinement at a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital, former "O. C." star Mischa Barton was released last weekend.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, her representative says that she is doing well and is ready to start working on her new show "The Beautiful Life."

There is still no word on exactly why Barton suffered her sudden breakdown except that it was a "non-emergency" and that Barton had a "medical issue," reports E! Online. Also, a friend of the actress said that she was "dealing with a lot of personal issues."

Rumors had cropped up last week that the network was looking for a replacement in case Barton didn't recover in time for filming, which is supposed to start on July 31, writes MTV.com. However, Ashton Kutcher, producer of "The Beautiful Life," seems to have been confident all along that she was doing fine and would return to the show in time.
