TNT secures more cast members for Spielberg pilot

TNT's untitled Steven Spielberg alien invasion pilot already starring ex-"ER" star Noah Wyle has added "Terminator: Salvation's" Moon Bloodgood, Jessy Schram, Seychelle Gabriel and Maxim Knight to the show's cast.

According to an article on HollywoodReporter.com, "The project, written by Robert Rodat from an idea he conceived with Spielberg, is set shortly after aliens have wiped out most of the human population and centers on a ragtag group of soldiers and civilians led by widower Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) who struggle against the occupying alien force."

The pilot will be directed by Carl Franklin, who also directed the 1995 Denzel Washington thriller "Devil in a Blue Dress" and the 2002 Ashley Judd/Morgan Freeman thriller "High Crimes."

The HollywoodReporter.com article then delves into the roles each actor will play on the show, "Bloodgood will play Anne Glass, a therapist working with the children to help them with the trauma of the alien invasion…[her] husband died during the invasion, becomes a bedrock of the survivors' community and Tom's confidant. Knight will play Tom's youngest son who is still dealing with the terror of the alien invasion. Schram will play Karen, an athletic tomboy who works as a motorcycle scout. Gabriel ('Weeds') will play Lourdes, a pretty teenager who has lost family and helps run the camp's makeshift commissary.'"

Bloodgood's other credits include her recurring role the USA comedy-drama series "Burn Notice" and the 2007 NBC science fiction drama series "Journeyman." As for Schram, she recently filmed a three-episode arc for the Starz Network's original television drama series "Crash," based on the Academy Award winning 2004 film of the same name.
