Country Track Pack Released for "Rock Band"

Harmonix, MTV Games, and Electronic Arts have announced that the Rock Band Country Track Pack is now available, allowing owners of the popular "Rock Band" or "Rock Band 2" for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PS2 to expand their playable music libraries even further.

The Track Pack disc consists of 21 songs from some of the biggest names in country music, such as Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Kenny Rogers, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Shania Twain.

Thirteen of the Rock Band Country Track Pack's songs are new to "Rock Band", and will remain exclusive to the hard copy Track Pack for a limited time before joining the Rock Band Music Store. The other eight tracks are already available for download in the game's online store.

Owners of the Rock Band Country Track Pack for the Xbox 360 or PS3 will also have the option to either play the songs directly off of the disc, or to download them to their consoles' hard drives for free through an offer with Xbox Live or the Playstation Network.

Additionally, like all other "Rock Band" software, the Track Pack will be compatible with all "Rock Band" controllers and microphones and most Guitar Hero and authorized third-party peripherals.
