Annie Leibovitz Sued Over $24 Million Loan

Annie Leibovitz is being sued for a breach of contract.

Annie Leibovitz is being sued by an art finance company that lent her $24 million against the rights to her photographs and properties.

Art Capital Group filed the breach of contract suit in Manhattan Supreme Court, accusing the celebrity photographer of not following the terms of the loan.

The suit says Leibovitz asked for a $22 million loan in June 2008. Bumped up to $24 million later, the loan was made under the condition that Leibovitz would likely need to sell her photographs and homes to stabilize her finances.

The celebrity photographer's iconic photos include Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" cover and nude and pregnant Demi Moore.

Leibovitz, who has a reported $2 million a year contract for Vanity Fair, has been involved with numerous suits in the past few years over unpaid bills plus a bill from the state for unpaid taxes.
