Lindsay Lohan is Blonde Now

New movie deal requires her to dye her hair.

Lohan emerged from a Beverly Hills hair salon at 11:30 pm after spending 11 hours getting hair extensions and a platinum blonde dye job. Her hair is now waist-length, reports TheInsider.com.

The young actress' hair has been all sorts of colors over the years, its previous color being an auburn that was close to its natural shade.

According to New York Daily News, Lohan is unhappy about the change. She posted on Twitter that the new look is for a movie and that she begged to the creators on behalf of her hair.

Several controversies surrounding Lohan have made it difficult for the actress to get work. Now it seems she has finally landed a decent job.

SheWired.com reports that Robert Rodriguez wants to "save" Lohan and so he offered her a role in a "Grindhouse" spin-off called "Machete." Other members of the cast include Robert De Niro, Steven Seagal, Michelle Rodriguez and Jonah Hill. Shooting begins in a couple of weeks.
