Paul McCartney Tours the States

At 67, the former Beatle's still got it!

The legendary former Beatle and Wings member Sir Paul McCartney is currently on the east coast of the US, giving huge, two and a half hour concerts like he was still 17.

According to the Boston Globe, McCartney appeared relaxed in the greenroom of Citi Field just before giving his third concert of the week. The incredibly successful musician said that he still gets a thrill from performing live, like he did when he started his career nearly 50 years ago.

He gave an even bigger concert at FedEx Field in Washington D. C. on Saturday, reports WTOP. The event drew over 60,000 fans.

During the July 21 concert in New York, McCartney played tributes to the two late Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison. The Washington Examiner writes that he became choked up during the tribute to Lennon.

Paul McCartney currently holds the world record for the most successful musician and composer in popular music history. He now spends much of his time experimenting with the British producer Youth to create solo albums as The Fireman. The Fireman just released his third album titled "Electric Arguments."
