Defying Gravity on Sunday Night

New TV series, "Defying Gravity," premiering Sunday night, promises lots of steamy scenes.

They had "Sex [in] the City," sex in a hospital ("Grey's Anatomy"), sex in the suburbs ("Desperate Housewives") and now, there's going to be sex in space. ABC's new series, "Defying Gravity," from the creators of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Desperate Housewives," is set to debut Sunday at 9 p.m. EST, according to the Huffington Post.

The sci-fi summer series is set to follow four men and four women on a six-year space mission and do all manners of the horizontal tango in the process. Suffice it to say, "things get fun pretty quickly," according to Ron Livingston, who plays Maddux Donner, the commander of the spaceship, Antares.

Livingston also played Carrie Bradshaw's boyfriend, Jack Berger, in the 6th season of "Sex and the City." In "Defying Gravity," he is placed in a love triangle when two of his ex-girlfriends are on the ship. The crew's mission is to study the solar system but, according to Livingston, "there's a little more to the mission than what they've been told."

The show will have a two-hour premiere on ABC.
