Twilight Author Accused of Plagiarizing Fourth Book
Best selling, "Twilight" series author, Stephenie Meyer accused of taking her story line from another book.
Stephenie Meyer is being accused of ripping off her storyline of "Breaking Dawn," published in 2008, from Jordan Scott's book "The Nocturne," published in 2006.
Jordan Scott started writing the book on her website in 2003 posting whole chapters and numerous passages through her drafting process before publishing "The Nocturne." She filed a cease and desist letter to the publishers of "Breaking Dawn," and a detailed comparison of the two books similarities to further her claim. Meyer's rep told TMZ the claim is "completely without merit" and Meyer had no knowledge of the author or her previous work.
