Paula Abdul May Return to "Idol" if She Gets a Raise

Sometimes, several million dollars a year isn't good enough...

American Idol judge Paula Abdul did not think $4 million a year was worth her time, according to Us Magazine.

Just days before announcing her intent to leave the hit show, Abdul apparently had complained that Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell, fellow "Idol" judges, were being paid considerably more than her. According to TMZ, this is in fact true, as Cowell is apparently in talks to sign a $100 million-a-year deal and Seacrest's paycheck is estimated at $15 million-per-year.

A source close to "American Idol" has stated that Abdul wants $10 million a year to sign a new contract with the show, though the former judge and "Idol" executives have allegedly not been in contact since Abdul declared her intent to leave.
