Aerosmith Singer Steven Tyler Breaks Shoulder
The band is unsure if they can continue their tour after Tyler's injuries.
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry told a Rockford radio station Friday that he's unsure if his band will continue its summer tour as singer Steven Tyler recovers from injuries he sustained after falling from a South Dakota stage Wednesday.
"We still don't know if we're going to keep the tour up or what," Perry said during an interview at WXRX-FM. "It's breaking my heart."
Tyler, 61, fell several feet from the stage while dancing as the sound crew replaced a blown fuse during a performance of "Love in an Elevator" at the Buffalo Chip Campground, which hosted the concert during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. He was airlifted to Boston and met with his own doctor.
Tyler has stitches in his head and a broken shoulder.
