Who Wants to be a Millionaire Makes a Brief Return

Fans await the 10 year aniversary of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire."

Who wants to be a Millionaire is making a come back, but only briefly.

For two weeks, the finale airing August 23rd of the ABC hit will run for its 10 year anniversary. Regis Philbin, the original host, seems to be pleased with the reappearance.

When asked which celebrities he looks forward to seeing on the show, Philbin told Buffalo News that "his choices are Charles Grodin, Kevin Spacey and Alec Baldwin."

The celebrities will be playing to win money for their select charities.

Fans of the show will remember one of the first million dollar winners, John Gardner. On his million dollar question, the last of fifteen, Gardener chose to use his life line to call his father and tell him he was about to win. The question he answered was which U. S. president appeared on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh- In" and his answer was Richard Nixon. Although Gardeners fame was short lived, audiences enjoyed the moment and went wild for the show.
