The Rolling Stones Are Back
It's been six years since The Rolling Stones have played in St. Paul and now Minnesotans don't have to wait much longer. Mick Jagger, Keith Richard, and Charlie Watts are set to play at the Xcel Energy Center on September 6th. No tickets can be considered too pricey to see a band that might be on its last road trip (although the members, all in their 60s, did not comment on such queries). It will cost $60, $95, and $160 to get you into the venue but a limited number of "gold circle" seats are being sold at $350 for those who want to hear their idols up close. Tickets go on sale on May 21th at Ticketmaster.
Although the band would not reveal the opening acts, if it's anything like The Stones 2002-2003 tour, it might include the Pretenders, the White Stripes, the Strokes, Sheryl Crow, and Minnesota's very own Jonny Lang.
