Steven Tyler's Injury a Mystery
Aerosmith's Steven Tyler has been out of commission for over a week now, but what exactly is the reason? According to the Rapid City Journal, last Wednesday, the 61-year-old front man took a tumble off the stage at a concert at Buffalo Chip Campground in South Dakota, suffering minor head and neck injuries. Take a look at the fall as Tyler dances during the band's hit, "Love in an Elevator":
The incident caused the band to postpone three Canadian concerts. A week has gone by and the future of Aerosmith's tour is still up in the air. Joe Perry, the band's lead guitarist, told the Associated Press that Tyler has a broken shoulder and stitches on his head. In an interview with Detroit's 101 WRIF, Perry admitted that he's also in the dark about the singer's health. He said, "They're still running tests. MRIs, everything, X rays. I really don't know what's going on."
In another radio interview, Perry told Detroit's WXRX that the band is resilient, saying, "We always come back." The members of Aerosmith plan to get together on Friday to talk about the tour.
