Fall Out Boy's Video Mishap

The wrong version of Fall Out Boy's new music video premiered on MTV.

There are many blunders that occur on television, but they usually happen during a live feed. This was not the case when MTV accidentally premiered the wrong version of the highly-anticipated new Fall Out Boy music video.

MTV News reports that "What a Catch, Donnie" premiered with an extended version of the music video that should have been removed. The scene featured band member Pete Wentz saluting the camera while aboard a sinking ship.

Wentz reportedly said that the band was embarrassed by the extended version since the extra footage really didn't seem to go along with the theme of the rest of the music video. The bassist also said that the band has had other issues in the past with the wrong version being played, and that they will do their best to make sure it won't happen again.

Fall Out Boy plans to release viral video clips online of more music video footage in the next few weeks.
