Seinfeld to be First Guest on New Jay Leno Show.
Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will become the first guest of Jay Leno's new show, announced NBC on Friday.
The new show, titled "The Jay Leno Show," premieres on Monday, Sept. 14th on NBC. Seinfeld will be joining the show's premiere with a powerful trio guest, Kanye West, Jay-Z and Rihanna as they perform their new song, "Run This Town."
Leno stepped down from "The Tonight Show" throne in May after 17 years on the program. "The Tonight Show" is now being hosted by Conan O' Brien. "The Jay Leno Show" is said to be having fewer guest appearances and more comedic material compared to "The Tonight Show," according to Leno. It will air five nights a week on a 10 p.m. time frame.
Seinfeld, who also had his own program on the network, will be returning to NBC with his new production of a reality show called, "The Marriage Ref," reports The Associated Press.
