Wrongful death suit for Jackson's doc
Katherine Jackson's attorney, Burt Levitch, has indicated that Dr. Conrad Murray is most likely the target of the suit. Murray is believed to have injected Jackson with a deadly dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol. The wrongful death suit has yet to be finalized.
"Dr. Murray's name has been floated because he is under investigation," Levitch told the Associated Press.
Dr. Conrad Murray has fired back in his own defense. In his first public statement since the death of Jackson on June 25, Murray defends his innocence in a YouTube video. The video mainly focuses on Murray thanking his supporters who have sent him e-mails and letters.
"I have told the truth and the truth will prevail," Murray states in the video, according to ABC News.
Jackson is said to be buried on his 51st birthday this August 29. He will be laid to rest in the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn. Spike Lee will be throwing a huge block party in the gloved one's honor in New York as well.
