Lohan’s Crackberry Freak Out in Little Italy
22-Aug-2009
Written by: Sara Eason

Lindsay Lohan calls the cops on a deli worker trying to return her Blackberry and freaks out because he didn’t recognize her.

Apparently the worker, Mohammed Hashan, 37, didn’t even know who Lohan was! Lohan reportedly left her phone on the counter at the restaurant in Little Italy Thursday night after rudely throwing a $5 bill for a cup of ice.

When Hashan noticed the Blackberry, he quickly ran out of the deli to find the owner and saw Lohan getting into her cab. He then asked her if she was the owner of the phone to which Lohan replied that she was.

But then things got chaotic when the worker asked for the actress to prove that the phone was hers.

"She said, 'Don't you know who I am?' . . . I told her no. I didn't care who she was," Mott Corner Deli's Mohammed Hashan recalls, according to monstersandcritics.com.

That is when Lindsay went crazy! All Hashan asked her to do was to call her own phone to prove that it was hers but she couldn’t remember her own number.

Fueled with frustration, Lohan calls the authorities. Once the police saw photos of the troubled starlet on the Blackberry, they returned the phone.

"We appreciate New York City's Finest coming to Lindsay's rescue and assisting her in retrieving her BlackBerry," Linsay Lohan’s friend, Mike Heller, tells the N.Y. Post.

Hashan even offered Lohan to come back in the deli to review security tapes to prove that she in fact left the phone. Apparently, the drama queen had her own way of doing things.
