Lindsay Lohan's home is broken into
Lindsay Lohan's Hollywood Hills home was broken into by three people, while she was in Manhattan arguing to get her phone back from a deli worker.
Lohan arrived home early Sunday to find that a burglar had broken into her home. She had just come from a family's friend's birthday party in Malibu. She then called her father, Michael Lohan, who called the police.
Michael told TMZ that the safe was ripped out the wall and a few watches were stolen too. He believes that the theft was an inside job because her employees failed to turn on the alarm system.
"It's true," says Lohan mother, "The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed." She added, "Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn't home."
The Los Angeles Police Department said, "All we can confirm is that we are investigating a possible break in at the residence and we still have officers on the scene. We got a call shortly before 7 a.m. this morning and it's still under investigation. No arrests have been made."
