Miss USA Makes Miss Universe Top 15
Miss USA Kristen Dalton is in the top 15 finalists in the Miss Universe pageant.
This year, Miss USA might have a chance at being Miss Universe.
Kristen Dalton, also known as Miss North Carolina, is one of 15 finalists in the Miss Universe pageant.
This year's finalists come from Albania, Australia, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Iceland, Kosovo, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, and Venezuela.
The top ten will compete in an evening gown segment, and the top five will answer questions from the judges. This year's judges include actor Dean Cain and supermodel Valeria Mazza.
Dalton is a motivational speaker from Wilmington. Although Dalton won the Miss USA crown, runner-up Carrie Prejean received more media attention for her comments against gay marriage.
