Chris Brown Formally Sentenced for Rihanna Attack

Singer Chris Brown received a sentence of 5 years probation, six months community service and was ordered to stay away from Rhianna after pleading guilty to assault charges.

The R&B singer was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Rihanna for the entire 5 years of his probation.

In the event that they are both obligated to attend a musical event for their careers, Brown is ordered to stay only 10 yards away. The judge made it known that she was serious in this matter.

"I'm not immune to any chatter on the airwaves. Do you understand, Mr. Brown, that any violation of this order is a violation of your probation and it comes with the possible penalty of prison?" L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told Chris Brown in court regarding news she heard about him and Rihanna meeting reports.

It doesn't seem as though the "Run It" singer received a harsh sentence by any means. Brown's community service is said to be very lenient to accommodate the singer's active musical career. He will mostly be painting over graffiti and washing cars in Richmond, Virginia and will have long breaks to attend shows and such.

Brown had beat Rihanna when they were dating back in Feb. of this year. The altercation took place in a Lamborghini that the couple was renting. After the court hearing, a probation report was released stating that Brown had been deeply depressed ever since the incident.
