Worldwide Billy Mays Sticker Craze

Fans are celebrating his life by donning Billy Mays' face on stickers

TV pitchman Billy Mays, popular for his household products like OxiClean and Orange Glo, died at age 50 on June 28. Two months later, fans are celebrating his life by donning Billy Mays' face on stickers.

It started with his son, Billy Mays III, and his Twitter page.

According to various news sites, Mays' son offered his Twitter followers free stickers with his father's famously bearded face. Fans quickly responded to Billy's free sticker offer, and the stickers were soon in high demand.

The Billy Mays sticker craze has spread around the world, with fans sticking stickers on street signs, windows and mailboxes. Mays' son responded to the craze via his Twitter page by requesting followers with stickers to post them in "cool" places, take pictures and share with twitpic. He will soon post submitted twitpic photos to a web site.

And even though the popular stickers are all gone, Billy assures fans that more stickers are on the way.
