Kate Gosselin Hosts Pool Party, Dispels Bodyguard Rumors

Kate Gosselin of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" hosted a pool party this weekend for her bodyguard Steve Neild and his family.

MSNBC reported that Gosselin and Neild might be romantically involved, but Gosselin continues to deny those rumors.

Neild's wife and two teenage sons were at the backyard pool party, and E! News reports that the kids "were splashing around in the pool and having a really good time."

The party was mainly work for Neild, and he spent most of the party patrolling the yard and keeping an eye on the kids.

The evidence of an affair between Gosselin and Neild was thin and circumstantial at best. Earlier this month, they were seen together eating breakfast at a New York City hotel where they had stayed the night before in two separate rooms.

When Us Weekly asked Jon Gosselin about the nature of Kate's relationship with Neild, he replied, "At least someone's asking."
