Noel Gallagher Quits British Rock Band Oasis
What's the story morning glory? Noel Gallagher quit Oasis. After 18 years of being the main song writer and lead guitarist, he stated in his blog on the band's website that he has quit. His reasoning was that he was fed up and that there are too many reasons to name.
Most importantly, the constant rivalry between Noel and his brother Liam the singer of the band, reached an all time low according to Noel.
BBC.com, released various statements Noel wrote on his blog to his fans. Such as, "I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable. And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new."
Noel goes on to say that he is sorry, even though that might not be enough it's all that he can give the fans at this moment. A spokeswoman for the band states that she feels in a couple of day's time, the band will decide whether or not to continue without Noel or just call it quits.
According to MTV.com, "since forming in Manchester in 1991, the band have had their fair share of problems primarily the rocky relationship between songwriter/guitarist Noel and front man Liam."
