The “Sex and the City“ star shows a chic way to incorporate the neon trend on the set of the new movie.
When pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker from the set of “Sex and the City 2” in white skinny jeans, a white off-the-shoulder sweatshirt and hair that rivals Glenn Closes’s in “A Fatal Attraction” surfaced this week there was a collective gasp heard ‘round the world followed by inferences of an 80s flashback.
Although the decade is in this fall, current-day Carrie Bradshaw wouldn’t dare go on the streets of New York looking like that, or without a pair of heels for that matter. One way that current-day Bradshaw incorporates a throwback to the decadent decade is with this neon bag.
Adding one key neon piece to an outfit grounded in more neutral colors is a big fall trend. The $1,795 hobo bag by Christian Louboutin, whom is best known for his red-soled stilettos, may be too bold or expensive for most, but there are plenty of more affordable options.
Try a neon-colored bag of your choice with a casual navy or gray dress to help highlight the contrasting colors without looking like a cartoon.
