But she already died!

Those of us who watched the old Melrose Place were undoubtedly leery that Michael (Thomas Calabro) and Sydney (Laura Leighton) were going to be on the premiere episode of the new Melrose place. Why? Mostly because Sydney died in a car accident on her wedding day many years ago.

Resembling the first episode of Desperate Housewives (of which ironically, Leighton is married to Doug Savant from the show) in which a character dies and the rest of the season is figuring out how it happened, Sydney shows up dead, floating in the apartment complex's swimming pool. According to Leighton, she will be showing up in flashbacks to help the audience piece together the events of her death…again.

Still coming in with mixed reviews of not enough sex and being slightly boring, hopefully this will be given more of a chance than other soap operas in the last ten years. Remember the Titans?
