Nicole Richie Gives Birth to 2nd Bundle of Joy

Nicole Riche and her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden welcome their second child into the world in Las Angeles early this morning.

"In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. He weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes," the happy couple states on Richie's according to . The proud parents seem to be doing very well these days. Madden, 30, and Richie, 27, also initiated a nonprofit foundation called the Richie Madden Children's Foundation that grants healthcare and education to those in need.

Momma Richie was so influenced by her pregnancies that she created her own line of hippie chic maternity clothing. She also runs her own line of jewelry with the same name of her daughter called House of Harlow 1960.The couple's first child, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, was born in Jan. 2008.
